Groups
IFS & Trauma Group
The focus of this group is to help members to deepen their Internal Family Systems (IFS) work to befriend their inner worlds and to release trauma.
This group is led by John only (with a possibility of Chelsea joining in the future).
Group Focus
Here are some things we might do in group and the clinical modalities we draw on aside from IFS.
Integrate sandtray or Empty Chair (Psychodrama)
Integrate Brainspotting to find parts and release burdens
Use members to externalize our parts (Hakomi, Psychodrama)
Use members for parts mapping or to understand confusing behavioral dynamics
Use members to understand our original family system through sculpting (Family Therapy)
Using members to help support our bodies to “complete” and finish off triggers (Somatic Experiencing, Hakomi)
